The Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop entitled (Cyberbullying), delivered by the engineer in the Counter Narcotics and Cyberbullying Directorate of the National Security Service, Issam Kamel Falih, in the presence of the official of the University Relations and Communication Unit in the University Follow-up Department, Mr. Sadiq Shalgham Al-Shammari. The workshop aimed to educate about the blackmailer’s methods to lure his victim, protect from cyberbullying of all kinds, and how to deal with it. Falih also discussed ways to protect personal accounts on social media sites from hacking and seizing personal information and photos. The workshop organizers also warned against fake programs in conjunction with the necessity of using protection programs. One of the viruses that have become a means of hacking accounts.
The workshop recommended not to use or install unknown programs on social media, in addition to not opening links sent from unknown sources, as well as informing the National Security Service by calling 131, and informing them of the details and type of cyberbullying.
