The Planning Consultancy Bureau was established at the Institute of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad in 1994 by a decision of the University of Baghdad Council and with the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The establishment of this important scientific edifice came in support of the unremitting efforts aimed at raising the level of cities and regions in Iraq and contributing to advancing the development process in the country.
• Providing consultations, services, and scientific, technical and training expertise to state departments and other parties.
• Providing its services and expertise to citizens at an appropriate level of prices.
• Contribute to raising the standard of practicing the profession in Iraq.
• Increasing the expertise of faculty members and technicians in the professional and applied fields
• Exchanging experiences with similar offices and relevant authorities inside and outside Iraq.
