The Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop for postgraduate students in the university’s formations on choosing the title of scientific research. The Dean of the Center, Professor Dr. Kareem Hassan Alwan, delivered the workshop under the title (Forming and Choosing the Title of Scientific Research), highlighting the start of a brainstorming session to conduct the process of choosing the title of the research and arriving at the desired topic, provided that the researcher addresses in his/her thesis or dissertation contemporary issues and their impact on society or the environment and other fields related to his/her specialization.
Dr. Alwan stressed that writing steps must include new ideas after defining the main research questions and answering them using specific, non-general terms while avoiding abbreviations and ambiguous terms without narration or elaboration in the scientific text.
