The Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad underwent maintenance and renovation work on its classrooms, coinciding with the conclusion of final exams for the 2025-2026 academic year. The maintenance committee, under the supervision of the center’s dean, Professor Dr. Kareem Hassan Alwan, carried out the work, which included renovating the center’s information desk and the classroom floor, as well as re-establishing some electrical wiring, in addition to cleaning and debris removal.
The center’s administration took advantage of the mid-June holidays to complete the maintenance work in preparation for the start of the 2026-2027 academic year, and the renovation work will continue until the beginning of the new academic year.
