The Dean of the Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Kareem Hassan Alwan, received a delegation from the Karbala Center for Studies and Research, affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, to discuss the progress of bilateral relations and how to leverage them through joint conferences, seminars, and workshops, as well as the publication of scientific research and the delivery of lectures.
Dr. Alwan briefed the delegation on the latest scientific and practical developments at the Center, which contribute to the job market, national development, and community service.
For their part, the Director of the Karbala Center, Mr. Abdul Amir Al-Quraishi, his assistant, Dr. Nadhir Al-Hindawi, and their companions expressed their readiness to cooperate with the Center of Urban and Regional Planning in various fields, in addition to exchanging visits and scientific expertise that would benefit both sides. This is especially relevant following the success of the ninth Arbaeen Pilgrimage Conference, which was hosted by the University of Baghdad at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein last year and saw broad academic participation.
