The Dean of the Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Kareem Hassan Alwan, inspected the site of the planned Institute of Postgraduate Studies for Applied Research, to be located in one of the buildings of the Scientific Research Authority. He was accompanied by the Dean of the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, Professor Dr. Salwa Jaber Abdullah, to review the building’s details and plans and assess its needs to ensure it meets international quality standards for postgraduate studies.
Dr. Alwan and Dr. Abdullah toured the institute’s facilities, including a scientific laboratory that will serve postgraduate students and meet future work requirements and needs, in accordance with the proposals of the committee that conducted the feasibility study for establishing the institute in cooperation with the Scientific Research Authority at the Ministry of Higher Education.
