Middle Technical University Honors The Dean of the Center
Professor Dr. Kareem Hassan Alwan, Dean of the Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Graduate Studies, was honored with two shields of appreciation during his attendance at the 6th International Conference on Sustainable Engineering Technologies (ICSET 2025). Alwan emphasized that the conference was launched through an active scientific partnership between the Middle Technical University and Al-Naji Private University, in addition to the active participation of the Arabian Gulf University from the Kingdom of Bahrain. This collaboration strengthens the prospects for academic cooperation and the exchange of research expertise between Iraqi and Arab universities. He noted that the conference included six specialized scientific sessions spanning two days, which discussed rigorous research that contributes to supporting the paths of sustainable engineering.
The conference also witnessed the participation of researchers from 33 Arab and international countries, presenting 120 scientific papers, in addition to an exhibition of scientific and engineering innovations.
