The Center Hosts Delegation from the Karbala Studies Center
A delegation from the Karbala Center for Studies and Research, affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, visited the Center for Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad. They were received by the Dean of the Center, Professor Dr. Kareem Hassan Alwan.
The two sides discussed their scientific relations and how to enhance them through joint conferences, seminars, and workshops, as well as the publication of scientific research, the exchange of expertise, and the delivery of lectures, particularly following the success of the Ninth Scientific Conference on the Arba’een Pilgrimage, held in cooperation with the University of Baghdad.
Preparations for the Tenth Scientific Conference on the Arba’een Pilgrimage were also discussed.
Dr. Alwan provided a comprehensive overview of the Center, its work, and its outputs, which are relevant to the job market, especially as Iraq embarks on a reconstruction and development journey based on global sustainability standards related to clean energy investment, emissions reduction, and the expansion of green spaces, among other initiatives.
