The Dean of the Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies, Professor Dr. Kareem Hassan Alwan, held another meeting with the university committee tasked with developing a policy for tenured professors and how to best utilize their expertise in conjunction with the university’s teaching and research staff. The meeting was attended by committee members from several colleges and the University of Baghdad’s administration.

The meeting discussed the instructions for the first amendment to Regulation No. (161) of 2010 concerning the organization of tenured professors’ status. The aim is to develop a policy specifically addressing the role of tenured professors and how to best utilize their expertise in conjunction with the teaching and research staff across all departments of the University of Baghdad.

This meeting follows up on a previous meeting and reflects an intensive study on leveraging the scientific and academic capabilities of tenured professors and employing them to enhance the scientific landscape and promote global knowledge dissemination.
