Karbala Center for Studies and Research Honors the Dean
The President of the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Insaf, and the Dean of the Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies, Professor Dr. Kareem Hassan Alwan, were honored with a shield from the Karbala Center for Studies and Research in recognition of their efforts in ensuring the success of the Ninth International Scientific Conference on the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.
The Director of the Karbala Center, Abdul Amir Al-Quraishi, also honored the members of the conference committees at the University of Baghdad President’s office, amidst an exchange of words of thanks and praise between the two sides, along with promises of future joint scientific cooperation between the university and the center.
Director Abdul Amir Al-Quraishi commended the distinguished role of the University of Baghdad and the Center for Urban Planning in the conference activities, which lasted for several days and saw significant Arab and local participation. The conference embodied spiritual values, scientific progress, and the inspiration drawn from the message of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and the principles of victory and peace.
The President of the University of Baghdad presented the university’s shield to the delegation from the Karbala Center for Studies and Research, affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, and several commemorative photos were taken.
