The Center Chairs a University Committee on Leveraging the Capabilities of Experienced Professors

The Dean of the Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad, Professor Kareem Hassan Alwan, chaired a meeting of the University Committee, which included representatives from a number of university departments and divisions. The meeting aimed to develop a new policy for optimal utilization of the capabilities of experienced professors, complementing the teaching and research staff of the parent university.

Alwan confirmed that the committee studied the possibility of assigning experienced professors to write curricula and undertake translation work in coordination with the departments of the departments in which they work. They also sought their assistance in forming specialized committees, as needed, to leverage their expertise, while also ensuring their inclusion in research teams.

The committee also discussed a number of proposals regarding the possibility of assigning experienced professors to supervise doctoral students. They also have the right to teach or give lectures to undergraduate students.
