The competitive examination for postgraduate applicants for the 2025-2026 academic year, for both the Higher Diploma and Master’s degrees, was launched at the Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad. Thirty-seven male and female students took the competitive examination for admission to postgraduate studies in their scientific and humanities specializations, with 32 competing for Master’s degrees and five competing for the Higher Diploma.

The examination committee provided a simplified explanation to the students about the mechanism for answering the competitive questions, providing an appropriate, organized, and fluid examination environment under the supervision of the Center’s Deanship and all its divisions and units. Personal interviews were also conducted with the students to determine the nature of their studies and areas of work, as well as the precise field of specialization for employees and workers in the private sector. Other questions related to personal composition and academic attendance were also included.

It is worth noting that the announcement of the results is subject to the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the University Presidency, in accordance with the university calendar for postgraduate studies for the 2025-2026 academic year.
