Professor Nada Khalifa chaired the master’s thesis discussion at the College of Urban Planning at the University of Kufa.

Khalifa discussed the thesis, titled “The Sustainable Ecological Neighborhood and Its Role in Reducing Energy Consumption,” by student Hanin Haider. She discussed the methodology of her thesis and the themes upon which the submitted study was based. She emphasized that the thesis aimed to build a conceptual framework that clarifies the relationship between the elements of a sustainable ecological neighborhood and energy consumption indicators, while analyzing the impact of this relationship on enhancing sustainability and reducing energy loss within residential neighborhoods.

The Center for Urban and Regional Planning for Graduate Studies’ participation in scientific forums is part of the center’s efforts to open up to all institutions as part of a plan to exchange scientific and knowledge knowledge and hone skills, as well as to strengthen cooperation between academic institutions.
