The lecturer at the Urban and Regional Planning Center for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Arej Khairy Al-Rawi, headed the comprehensive examination committee for the Department of Landscape Engineering at the College of Agriculture at the University of Kufa. Al-Rawi discussed the seasonal research (Planning and Designing Green Areas in the City of Karbala Using Env Technology) by the student Khaled Abdul Hussein Hashim, and discussed with him the objectives of the research that adopted the establishment of green courtyards in Karbala in light of the availability of appropriate climatic and environmental conditions that will contribute to reducing emissions and heat and increasing the percentage of oxygen in the atmosphere in light of the high number of visitors, in addition to the population density in the city.

Dr. Al-Rawi’s participation in the comprehensive examination at the University of Kufa comes within the center’s vision and its long-standing approach to open up to relevant scientific institutions to benefit from the center’s expertise and exchange sciences with others.
