The Deanship of the Urban and Regional Planning Center of Postgraduate Studies held an orientation meeting with graduate students for the current academic year. The Dean of the Center, Prof. Dr. Karim Hassan Alwan, stressed the importance of adhering to official working hours and attending lectures, in addition to scientific publishing and searching for sources related to urban planning.
For his part, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the Center, Prof. Dr. Muhib Kamel, discussed the procedures for activating the study email and means of communication with students via the study email and Telegram for the current session. The Director of the Registration Department at the Center, Israa Sami, pointed out the necessity of completing the student’s administrative guarantees and obligations, in addition to the attendance and absences position in the preparatory year.
On the other hand, the head of the follow-up unit and the member of the student activities liaison at the center, Yasser Khalil, stressed the security controls and instructions and the mechanism for granting badges and authorizations for students’ vehicles to enter, touching on the importance of activating university competitions and participating in them, such as sports activities after equipping the center with a sports table, a basket and badminton rackets, in addition to the football game between students and professors of the center, at a time when the importance of activating other artistic activities such as drawing, poetry and others comes through holding symbolic exhibitions that reflect the artistic aspect and architectural touch of the center’s students.
