Urban Planning Center Participates in a Conference at Warith Al-Anbiya University
The lecturer at the Center for Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Arej Khairy Al-Rawi, participated in the eighth scientific conference for the Arbaeen visit, which was held by the University of Warith Al-Anbiya in cooperation with the Karbala Center for Specialized Studies and Research affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, in the presence of a number of religious, academic and social figures. Dr. Al-Rawi’s participation was represented by her research entitled “Evaluating the Spatial Dimensions Appropriate for the Elderly in the Experiences of the Holy Shrines of Mecca and Al-Ridha”. To extract a number of indicators that can be adopted in the Arbaeen visit in the city of Karbala.
The legal guardian of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbala’i, attended the conference in addition to the Secretary-General of the Shrine, Professor Hassan Rashid Al-Abayji, along with a number of academic figures, foreign delegations and others. In his speech at the conference, Professor Dr. Waqid Al-Moussawi said: Thank you to everyone who contributed and worked on the success of this conference. We, at Warith Al-Anbiya University (peace be upon him), work hard to graduate a generation capable of achieving excellence and innovation, and we affirm our commitment to providing a distinguished educational environment that contributes to building a promising future.
