Dr. Inas Dhia, Head of the Human Rights Unit at the Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies, participated in the Earth Day events organized by the Sustainable Development Team at the University of Baghdad, with the participation of several university staff members.

Dhia emphasized that her participation involved distributing a poster highlighting the goals of urban planning while considering the sustainability of cities, given the importance of implementing sustainable city principles at both the urban and spatial levels.

It is worth noting that the Earth Day activities organized by the university included tree planting and campus clean-up campaigns aimed at promoting a culture of environmental conservation, reducing pollution, and raising awareness about the importance of protecting natural resources.
