The Center Receives the Director General of the Spatial Data Center

The Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad received Dr. Zaid Farhoud Makki, Director General of the National Center for Spatial Data Management at the National Security Advisory, and his delegation. They were welcomed by the Dean of the Center, Professor Dr. Kareem Hassan Alwan. The two sides discussed advancing scientific progress and the university’s achievements in keeping pace with global advancements, particularly its improved international rankings across all levels. Dr. Alwan emphasized the importance of scientific cooperation between the two institutions, especially regarding developments in spatial planning, as well as the exchange of expertise.

It is worth noting that the Center seeks to engage with all scientific institutions and those related to urban planning, a step towards developing the Center’s scientific vision, following the university’s adoption of the motto “The University in Service of Society.”
