The Career Development and Employment Unit at the Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad held a workshop entitled “Discovering Your Professional Personality Using the 16 Personality Test.” The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Hassan Hadi from the Center and attended by a group of professors, staff members, and postgraduate students. The workshop aimed to provide students with a practical experience by having them administer the 16 Personality Test themselves, as part of developing their professional skills and understanding their most suitable career options.
Hadi emphasized the importance of enabling participants to identify their personal strengths and weaknesses, as well as understand their mental makeup and thinking patterns, along with their preferred communication styles. He also provided insights into emotional intelligence to help them improve their communication skills with their managers and colleagues in the workplace and understand the behaviors and dynamics of that environment from a different perspective.
The workshop concluded that students would gain a deeper awareness of themselves and their surrounding work environment, which would enhance their chances of success in their career paths and help them make informed decisions about their professional future.
