The Women’s Affairs Unit at the Center held a workshop entitled “Building Women’s Self-Awareness and Enhancing Self-Confidence.” The international trainer Najla Tariq presented the workshop.

The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of self-awareness for women and its role in developing their personalities and boosting their self-confidence. Self-awareness helps women understand their abilities, feelings, strengths, and weaknesses, enabling them to make better decisions in their personal and professional lives.

Trainer Tariq emphasized the importance of encouraging women to believe in their abilities and not underestimate their worth. She stressed the need to develop their skills and achieve their ambitions. Self-confidence empowers women to face challenges, express their opinions clearly, and participate actively in society after being psychologically and intellectually empowered. It also helps them build a strong, independent personality capable of achieving success and balance in all aspects of life.

The workshop covered several topics, including understanding thoughts and feelings, body awareness, repetitive patterns, values, self-acceptance, setting healthy boundaries, and education. The workshop concluded that self-confidence is not about living without fear, but about knowing our worth and moving forward in life despite fear, and that every woman should know herself and believe in her capabilities, so that she can be able to make a change in her life.
