The Center Organizes Introductory Workshop for Research Centers about the Arbaeen Pilgrimage Conference
The Tenth Scientific Conference on the Arba’een Pilgrimage Committee organized an introductory workshop about the conference, which will be held in early August 2026 in cooperation with the Karbala Center for Studies and Research, affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein.
The workshop, chaired by Professor Dr. Kareem Hassan Alwan, along with members of the committee, aimed to familiarize attendees from research centers with the nature of the conference, the types of studies and research to be presented, and the mechanisms for participation and publication. It also covered the themes and topics that will be included in the two-day conference, held amidst the massive pilgrimage of millions of people to Karbala, a pilgrimage that embodies the message of Imam Hussein and its humanitarian and doctrinal concepts. The conference has achieved great success in recent years.
This workshop is one of several introductory workshops held in preparation for the conference, following the prominent role played by the University of Baghdad in ensuring its success, alongside other scientific and academic institutions that contributed rich research papers and art exhibitions depicting the revolution of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
