The Urban and Regional Planning Center for postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad organized an exhibition of the scientific products of its postgraduate students, under the supervision of the project professors at the center.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the Dean of the Center and the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Karim Hassan Alwan, in the presence of Dr. Lama Hassan Al-Obaidi from the Quality Assurance Department at the University Presidency, in addition to the participation of some of the center’s lecturers and students who plan the participating projects.
Each student gave a presentation about his project (panorama) and the project’s future vision that guarantees luxury and sustainability in accordance with engineering planning standards, provided that it provides solutions to housing problems, traffic jams, and others.
Diploma projects, master’s theses, and doctoral dissertations that were discussed at the center since its inception in the early seventies of the last century were also presented, along with scientific and academic publications, and the contributions of researchers inside and outside the country.
