The Urban and Regional Planning Center for Graduate Studies at the University of Baghdad witnessed the discussion of a master’s thesis tagged (Developmental Strategy in Achieving Spatial Justice) by researcher Sarah Omar Ali, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Ahmed Saad Al-Shadidi.
The research focused on the use of planning methods that help in employing various capabilities and resources within a development strategy aimed at developing the study area in order to achieve spatial justice
The researcher tried to define the conceptual framework for the spatial potentials and measure the impact of the development strategy for those capabilities in the spatial dimension according to planning indicators, and thus propose an appropriate development strategy that enables the planner and the decision-maker to determine the developmental potentials with the natural and human resources of the study area Halabja.
