The Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad launched a tree planting campaign in cooperation with the Dora Municipality in the Baghdad Municipality and under the supervision of the Dean of the Center, Professor Dr. Kareem Hassan Alwan, and with the participation of professors, employees and students of the Center. The campaign included planting a number of evergreen trees and a large number of flower seedlings, amounting to 150 plants.
It is noteworthy that the seedlings were donated by the Dora Municipality Department to the Center in order to strengthen relations between the two parties and encourage the spread of green culture and the adoption of sustainability for a healthy and sound environment.
