Professor Dr. Amir Shakir, Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad, chaired the discussion of a master’s thesis at the Department of Architecture, University of Technology, entitled (Exploring the Seried Vision in the Contemporary Vision Landscape: the City of Erbil as a Case Study) by the researcher (Doha Yasser Hamza Al-Jawthari).
The thesis comes within the major of urban design, as it sheds light on clarifying the seried vision of the urban landscape and defining its principles, objectives and methods for achieving them within the contemporary urban space.
The researcher reached an assessment of the formation of visual sequential and the formation of urban drama within the contemporary local scene.
