The Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies, represented by Nadia Subaih, Head of the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit, participated in the Entrepreneurship Training (TOT) course organized by the Rehabilitation and Employment Division at the University of Baghdad Presidency, in cooperation with the Directorate of Entrepreneurship and Excellence at the Prime Minister’s Office. The course also included the participation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, representatives from the Baghdad Governorate, and a select group of academics and educators.

The course aimed to train entrepreneurship trainers and develop a number of specific and applied skills required by individuals in a specific context. It included training in practical and applied learning.

Mahmoud emphasized that the training focused on specific topics related to various skills, such as leadership programming and project management. The course also addressed topics focusing on the difference between education and training, obstacles to training, and methods and approaches. The five-day course also included topics related to distinguishing between a course and a workshop, the qualities of a trainer, and educating trainers about managing a training hall.

Participants were awarded a TOT certificate, which allows them to train trainee lecturers and course facilitators using a unique academic teaching method that enables the transfer of information to the trainee and the sharing and positive feedback.
