It is a unit affiliated to the Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies. It carries out the tasks of publishing the activities and news of the Center on the official website. It consists of an employee who holds a university degree and preferably has experience in media, computers and the Internet. It is directly related to the Dean. This unit carries out the tasks of media process, which begins with knowing the news that relates to all the activities of the Center. This unit also documents the activities and events carried out by the Media Unit, whether it is inside the center or the university or inside or outside Iraq. It also undertakes providing services and consultations to the students of the Center in the field of computer programming, setting up development courses for the employees of the Center, preparing and providing statistical data and information electronically to the parties that request them outside the Center in cooperation and coordination with other units. Therefore, this unit is considered the prominent electronic media interface of the Center as it sheds light on the information that can help inform the community about the news of the Center.
