A Faculty Member, Member of a PhD Discussion Committee at the College of Engineering
Dr. Nada Khalifa, a faculty member at the Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad, participated as an external examiner in the discussion of the doctoral dissertation entitled “Developing a Model to Overcome Delays and Failures in Housing Investment Projects in Iraq,” presented by student Aya Ali Hassan from the Department of Civil Engineering at the College of Engineering.
Dr. Khalifa emphasized that the dissertation presented an artificial intelligence program for simulating solutions to all problems in housing investment projects, aiming to prevent delays in their completion, as well as address the issue of high-rise housing units. The Center for Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies’ participation in scientific discussions is part of its plan to engage with all academic institutions, exchange expertise, and share a unique understanding of the role of urban planning in the fields of engineering and architecture.
