The organizing committee for the 10th Arbaeen Pilgrimage Conference held an orientation seminar at the College of Education for Pure Sciences/Ibn al-Haytham, as part of a series of meetings and seminars organized by the committee in preparation for this year’s conference.

The seminar aimed to encourage faculty and students to participate in the conference, scheduled for August 6, 2026, in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Karbala Center for Studies, affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein.

The conference’s importance stems from its status as an annual event that has become a hallmark of the Arbaeen Pilgrimage. The University of Baghdad will play a leading role in ensuring its success through its participation with research papers, seminars, workshops, and art exhibitions depicting the revolution of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
