The Dean of the Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Kareem Hassan Alwan, received the President of Al-Hadi University, Professor Dr. Abdul Mohsen Naji Al-Muhaisen, during a courtesy visit to the center.
The two parties met and exchanged views on joint cooperation, as well as scientific development and the adoption of sustainability in all aspects of life. Dr. Alwan provided a detailed explanation of the center’s role and scientific outputs, especially now that planning has become the foundation for launching and sustaining any project according to approved scientific standards.
Al-Muhaisen also viewed the center’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS) laboratory, a modern and smart laboratory that simulates designs on the ground and paves the way for urban planning.
It is worth noting that the President of Al-Hadi University praised the center and the quality of its sciences, considering it a rare center of specialization that serves the labor market and the country’s progress.
