Assistant Professor Dr. Ammar Khalil participated in the meeting of the Higher Committee for the Iraq Geographic Portal, hosted by the National Security Advisory. Khalil emphasized that the meeting aimed to review the achievements of relevant ministries and agencies through GIS departments and the impact of their performance in simplifying procedures and supporting decisions. He also highlighted the role of the National Center for Spatial Data Management in providing the necessary information to support relevant agencies through training courses and developing scientific curricula that keep pace with modern technology.

The meeting also discussed the committee’s work, tasks, and achievements, as well as the role of the National Center for Spatial Data Management in supporting state institutions and collaborating with them on scientific projects that support digital transformation.
