The Dean Attends the Third Quran Competition at the University of Baghdad
The Dean of the Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Kareem Hassan Alwan, attended the third Quranic Competition organized by the Center of Psychological and Educational Research.
Alwan emphasized that the competition coincided with the holy month of Ramadan and aimed to encourage students to memorize the Holy Quran and master its recitation, fostering a competitive spirit among students. It saw broad participation from various departments across the university.
It is worth noting that participants in the memorization and recitation categories demonstrated outstanding performance. The President of the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Insaf, praised the participants’ performance, emphasizing that the university will continue to support such events that contribute to developing student talents and promoting Islamic values.
Prior to the conclusion, the winners were honored with prizes, amid an atmosphere of appreciation for the young talents who emerged at this blessed event.
