The Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad launched a voluntary campaign to distribute food baskets to its students in the dormitories, coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan. The Dean of the Center, Professor Dr. Kareem Hassan Alwan, confirmed that this initiative came in accordance with the directives of the university presidency to support its students and exchange Ramadan feelings with them during the days of the holy month to enhance community solidarity and strengthen the humanitarian message and social ties in university life, which contributes to building a culture of solidarity based on cooperation and love during this blessed period. For their part, the students praised this initiative, which is based on giving, generosity and benevolence, and reflects the paternal spirit and social solidarity of the teaching staff with their students.
