The Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad held the second meeting of the Industrial Advisory Committee, headed by the Dean of the Center, Prof. Dr. Kareem Hassan Alwan, and attended by the committee members. The meeting discussed many issues related to the center’s students and graduates, while the committee members stressed the need to hold a special forum for the center’s students and graduates to exchange experiences, prepare an annual report for students and graduates to meet the needs of the labor market, and hold training courses and workshops within the public and private sectors that take into account the needs of the labor market and under the supervision of the center. The attendees agreed to introduce the subject of artificial intelligence into the curricula with the preparation of a special hall for artificial intelligence. It is worth noting that the Industrial Advisory Committee is a committee specialized in developing the education sector, the industrial sector and the labor market, qualifying students and academic staff with the latest developments in the labor market and the industrial sector and creating job opportunities for graduates.
