The Dean of the Center for Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Karim Hassan Alwan, chaired the second introductory seminar for the Ninth Scientific Conference for the Arbaeen Pilgrimage, held at the College of Islamic Sciences in the presence of the assistants of the scientific deans and directors of the centers for the university formations in the Bab Al-Muadham complexes. Alwan confirmed that the seminar included a short introductory film about the conference scheduled to be held on August 25, 2025, and a comprehensive explanation of the conference objectives was provided, in addition to its axes and the mechanism for submitting research.

The conference coordination committee also explained in the introductory seminar the details of the exhibition that will be held on the sidelines of the conference by the head of the committee supervising the exhibitions. Before the conclusion of the seminar, the floor was opened for discussion for the attendees to ask questions and inquiries, which resulted in positive interaction and valuable interventions that contributed to enhancing understanding of the conference objectives and axes.
