Sadiq explained the role of the Iraqi legislator in confronting drugs and the most important laws, legislations, and penalties related to this crime, while Ibrahim explained the media role in confronting this danger as it is the most influential in the youth category, explaining that the role of the media is embodied in defining and raising awareness of the dangers of addiction to guide young people and urge them to stay away from the path of addiction and to publish legal penalties against drug users and dealers as a form of deterrence. The workshop recommended the necessity for parents to follow up on their children and observe any behavioral or health changes that appear in them, and the necessity of raising family awareness of this issue as it is the basic link in raising generations.
