The first activities of the Entrepreneurial Week were launched at the Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad through a lecture entitled (Entrepreneurial Projects in Residential Planning.. Innovation in Community Service), delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Zahraa Imad, to the center’s postgraduate students. The lecture aimed to introduce postgraduate students to social integration and environmental solutions in the design of pioneering residential neighborhoods based on smart design, and to analyze the success factors of these projects and how to receive them to develop local residential neighborhoods that meet the standards of leadership and innovation.

This lecture comes within the activities of the Global Entrepreneurial Week and was included in the residential neighborhood planning lesson for the master’s degree to shed light on pioneering neighborhoods that presented innovative design ideas that won previous competitions. This activity discussed the possibility of applying pioneering principles in neighborhood planning and achieving sustainable, innovative and integrated environments that meet the needs of the population.
