The Planning Consultancy Bureau at the Center of Urban and Regional Planning for postgraduate studies at the University of Baghdad presented its audit studies for the engineering designs for the construction of the medical educational complex at Al-Muthanna University since its early stages, on a total area of 58,000 square meters, which includes the faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Nursing, as well as the construction of a 100-bed teaching hospital near the German Hospital.
The director of the Consultancy Bureau at the Center, Dr. Falah Mahdi, confirmed that the architectural plans of the buildings of the project were checked for the purpose of approving them at a later time, after reviewing the report of on-site soil examinations.
Dr. Falah Mahdi indicated that the Consultancy Bureau at the Center will continue to audit the remaining phases of the project, which include plans for service buildings, construction of facades and sections, as well as designs for services related to electrical energy and sanitation, noting that this project will enter into service in 2030.
