It is an administrative unit affiliated with the Dean of the Center responsible for organizing all scientific activities within the Center, including seminars and scientific lectures, in addition to holding training courses for the teaching and administrative staff and students by holding weekly scientific lectures given by one of the faculty members in the unit hall. The Continuing Education Unit prepares a special schedule that includes the dates, activities, beneficiaries and supporting parties for the activity after its approval. Encouraging lecturers and employees to participate in courses outside the Center by nominating courses received from other university formations, and following up on lecturers to obtain teaching methods courses or other courses required within the requirements of the lecturer, and also strengthening the bonds of scientific cooperation between the Center and other university formations and state institutions by following up on the mail of the Continuing Education Unit and submitting an annual report at the end of each academic year on the Center’s activities, in addition to attending the semi-annual meetings of the Continuing Education Unit officials to discuss all matters related to continuing education. All activities received by the unit from the university formations are circulated to a group dedicated to the Continuing Education Unit, and brochures for the activities are prepared and designed to be announced on all continuing education groups and student groups.
The unit is managed by one employee holding a master’s degree.
