It is one of the center’s units directly linked administratively to the dean. Its work focuses on covering all the center’s scientific activities, such as conferences, seminars, workshops, and lectures, in addition to seminar discussions, higher diploma projects, and master’s theses, and documenting them in the archive. The unit coordinates media interviews with the center’s professors in the media or in its presence in order to conduct a meeting or statement about the center’s specializations or achievements. The media unit also follows up on the deanship’s tours of the center’s students and halls within the context of inspection tours, in addition to covering rehabilitation and maintenance campaigns and other volunteer work that falls within the framework of the reconstruction of educational institutions throughout the year. The media has an effective role in highlighting, following up, printing and publishing various brochures and other types of publications related to the academic programs offered by the center.

The Government Media and Communication Unit is managed by two employees who hold a master’s degree and a higher diploma equivalent to a master’s degree. Their institutional and field media experience combines in drawing a roadmap for the outputs of the Urban and Regional Planning Center for Graduate Studies in order to define the role and mission of the center, and strive to build a positive image of it among the internal and external public, and the services it provides to society,
in addition to following up on public opinion trends regarding the center’s activities and various achievements.
