Organizing the affairs of scientific promotions for faculty members in the center and following up on them at the university. It also has a role in promoting the promotion transactions of lecturers whose specialization is urban and regional planning from outside the university or institution, implementing and following up on related decisions, setting agendas, preparing minutes for the Scientific Promotions Committee, implementing the paragraphs that fall within its jurisdiction, conducting deductions, stating the general and precise specialization and research path, and writing the minutes of the Scientific Committee.
The Scientific Promotions Unit is managed by six employees in different specializations and certificates, five of whom hold a doctorate degree and one employee holds a preparatory certificate.
