The Urban and Regional Planning Center for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad held a training course entitled (Legal Means for Concluding an Administrative Contract) delivered by the Director of the Legal Division at the Center, Assistant Lecturer Haider Adnan Sadiq, in the presence of the Center’s professors, employees, and postgraduate students. The course aimed to develop the Center’s staff in the field of contracting and to clarify the legal means that government departments must follow before proceeding with signing an administrative contract. Sadiq confirmed that the course included three axes, as the first axis dealt with explaining the nature of the administrative contract and its conditions, while the second axis shed light on the procedures prior to contracting, and the third axis dealt with explaining the legal means for concluding contracts.
This course, which will last for 3 days, comes within the Center’s periodic continuing education activities for the purpose of developing and refining the administrative and legal skills of employees, in addition to updating the information that the government employee possesses to govern his administrative work.
