The Government Contracts Unit is administratively linked to the Dean’s Assistant. This unit is independent and includes a number of employees with legal specialties. It undertakes work related to contracts for sites affiliated with the University of Baghdad in accordance with the applicable government contract implementation instructions and federal budget instructions. This unit performs the following tasks: –
1- Starting from announcing the tender and organizing and auditing the rental contracts.
2- Follow up with contractors with the university to determine the extent of their commitment to implementing the terms of the contract.
3- Forming committees to evaluate sites affiliated with the Urban and Regional Planning Center for Graduate Studies.
4- Carrying out bidding procedures for leasing the center’s sites.
5- Answering the university’s circulars and inquiries.
