The Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at the Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop entitled (Integrity, Transparency and Accountability in Administrative Work), delivered by the Head of the Legal Division at the Center, Assistant Lecturer Haider Adnan Sadiq, in the presence of the Dean of the Center, Professor Dr. Kareem Hassan Alwan, and a group of lecturers and employees of the Center.
The workshop aimed to familiarize the employee with the concept of integrity and the principle of transparency and the resulting legal accountability that befalls the employee as a result of his violation of the applicable controls and instructions. Sadiq explained that the employee must adhere to the application of laws and regulations during the exercise of his job duties and perform the tasks assigned to him in the best possible way, and stay away from any act that affects the dignity of the job. The workshop recommended the need to intensify administrative, legal and accounting courses, in addition to other specializations to advance and raise the employee’s job performance, in addition to developing a mechanism to address job errors before they occur as much as possible.
