The Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at the Urban and Regional Planning Center for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop entitled (Virtual and Augmented Reality Applications in Training and Professional Development), delivered by Ms. Lama Sabbar Zamel, from the Information Technology Unit at the Center. The workshop aimed to explain virtual and augmented reality, their importance and applications in training and professional development for employees in general, and their impact on people in real life. The workshop addressed the concept of virtual reality and augmented reality and the difference between them in terms of scientific and practical application.
Sabbar concluded that the use of virtual and augmented reality technologies in training and professional development represents an important development in the educational process, as it provides an opportunity to improve the learning experience and develop professional skills in an effective and innovative way. These technologies also contribute to strengthening human resources and improving the performance of workers.
