The Center for Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad concluded the first semester exams in the subject (Planning Studio) for postgraduate students. Thus, the Center bid farewell to its students for the 48th session in preparation for resuming the journey of writing a master’s thesis after choosing the appropriate title in coordination with the supervisor. The Center’s students presented their projects and plans related to developing a number From the regions according to scientific visions and concepts related to planning, design, and adopting sustainability, after developing solutions to the crises of population inflation and slums, in addition to the traffic crisis (traffic), in accordance with the plans of the study area, the social environment, and other axes that translate the center’s work as a theoretical solution to a contemporary problem.

For their part, the center’s professors, who were distributed among 4 examination committees, discussed the master’s students about the feasibility of their studies (their projects), the ways to ensure their success if they are accomplished, and what they will lead to in the midst of the noise of the current infrastructure and societies with a complex and multi-spectrum fabric.

It is noteworthy that the students’ projects varied and were distributed among the alleys and shops of Baghdad, and others from different governorates. They relied in their surveys on the outcomes of their preparatory studies before starting the master’s thesis project.
