Urban Planning Center Participates in a Course on Combating Crime
The assistant instructor at the Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad, Fatima Khalil Ibrahim, participated in the course entitled (The Phenomenon of Combating Drugs in Iraq), which was held by the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Mass Information for two days. Ibrahim gave a lecture entitled (Digital Drugs…A New Type of Addiction), in which touched on the definition, types, and impact of digital drugs on the listener, explaining their dangers and the effects of listening to them as they are electronic. The lecture also included the causes of the spread of drugs and the symptoms of addiction to them, as well as the health, economic and social harms resulting from them and how to address the social effects on those who use them.
It is noteworthy that the course was held in cooperation with the Anti-Narcotics Directorate in the Ministry of Interior, and the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad.
