The Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at the Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad organized a scientific workshop entitled (Accounting Principles and Book Group), delivered by the two teaching staff at the Higher Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies, Dr. Donia Jalil Jaafar and assistant instructor Heba Mahmoud Muhammad, in the presence of the Dean of the Center, Professor Dr. Kareem Hassan Alwan.
In the presence of the Dean of the Institute, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Thajil Al-Mamouri, the workshop addressed the definition of accounting principles, their importance, objectives and role in commercial activities. The workshop also touched on the benefits of financial accounting and its types, while the practical side of the workshop dealt with the bookkeeping group in the unified accounting system.
