The Planning Consultancy Bureau of the Urban and Regional Planning Center at the University of Baghdad has completed the master plan for the town of Al-Sakrah, located in the Anah district of Anbar Governorate. The town covers an area of \u200b\u200bapproximately 1,124 hectares and is part of a series of projects implemented by the bureau to support and rehabilitate affected areas according to modern planning principles that contribute to revitalizing urban and economic activity.<\/span><\/h4>\n

The Governor of Anbar, Engineer Omar Mishaan Dabbous, approved the design submitted by the Planning Consultancy Bureau. This step is considered a significant strategic project aimed at regulating urban expansion and establishing a modern planning vision that contributes to achieving balanced and sustainable development in the region. The Planning Consultancy Bureau at the Urban Planning Center confirmed that the master plan for Al-Sakrah Palace reflects a comprehensive vision for urban development. It includes reorganizing the urban space to ensure the optimal distribution of residential, commercial, and service activities, along with allocating appropriate areas for green spaces and public facilities. Furthermore, it improves the road network and enhances the efficiency of internal and external connectivity within the palace, contributing to a better quality of life for residents and providing a more stable and attractive urban environment. This design represents a significant step towards boosting investment opportunities and stimulating economic activity in the area, as it provides a clear planning framework that mitigates risks and encourages investors to engage in diverse projects within the residential, commercial, and service sectors. The project is also expected to create new job opportunities as a result of increased urban and economic activity.<\/span><\/h4>\n

This decision aligns with the local government’s efforts to control urban growth and curb haphazard expansion by adopting scientific principles in land use allocation and infrastructure development that meet current and future needs.<\/span><\/h4>\n
