The Dean of the Center of Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Kareem Hassan Alwan, chaired the Master’s thesis discussion committee at the College of Urban Planning at the University of Kufa. The thesis, titled “Happy Cities and Their Role in Improving Community Well-being,” was supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Sara Mahmoud, a lecturer at the Center.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Dr. Alwan noted that the thesis examined the concept of happy cities and its connection to levels of social well-being across urban, environmental, economic, psychological, institutional, and technological dimensions. Supervisor Mahmoud emphasized that the thesis focused on analyzing the relationship between happiness and well-being, assessing the impact of the urban environment on the lives of residents, improving city performance, and enhancing the integration of the dimensions of happy cities.<\/span><\/h4>\n

It is worth noting that the student reached a number of scientific recommendations in the fields of urban planning, spatial justice, sustainable environment, community participation, and digital transformation, which contribute to the development of urban policies and the improvement of community well-being.<\/span><\/h4>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
